Wonderwall

Wonderwall

A Poem by Makaede Lee
"

We had been to the Wonderwall exhibition locally and thoroughly enjoyed the day. This poem is the response to the first challenge set by my fellow poet friend.

"
I wonder, wall, what
Story to tell?
Eight foot high and
Shouting, silently
Please see me

Urban canvases
Allow a peek through
The cracks, to gaze
Upon Mohan, standing
Sentinel over dreams

Just a glimpse, perhaps a wisp
Left to wonder
