Freedom! - An Uplifting Fantasy

Freedom truly is a state of mind and being... sometimes we have to escape everyday living!!!

 

Come on, Follow the yellow brick road;

though it's not paved by silver or gold.

It's a land filled with stories yet untold;

but to get there you have to be bold.

 

Take a chance - dare to live day-by-day;

Relive youth a bit - relearn how to play.

There's no forever - we simply don't stay;

Life is simpler when you think of it this way!

 

People will drop down on their knees for a dime;

Earned money always gets spent over time.

Don't you see you're all crossing that line?

It's the people we love that are truly devine...

 

Take my hand and come walk with me cause it's free;

Be yourself - have some fun - I'll be me.

This is the way I feel life should be;

What will it take for everyone to see?

 

This is "Freedom" just take a look all around;

True beauty that can always be found.

Release your inner-child - Oh please don't be bound;

You see we walk all our lives on free ground!!!

Oh, how I'm for releasing that inner child!!! People take life so seriously, find so much to criticise, spend so much time grumbling about what they don't have they forget to appreciate what they do!

Yes, there are so many people who have awful lives and we need help them when and where we cant, but for so many there's the chance to be free.. .'This is "Freedom" just take a look all around; / True beauty that can always be found. / Release your inner-child -/ Oh please don't be bound; / You see we walk all our lives on free ground!!!
