Seasons Changing

Just like it sounds - A tribute to Spring!

 

Trees they are budding all around and everywhere;

fresh scents flowing sweetly in the refreshing spring air.

Children laughing, running and playing games like double-dare;

as if they've never had a worry or even the slightest of care.

 

The grass each day gets a little thicker and greener;

the flowers popping up to greet the new spring sun.

Eager people are anxiously awaiting warmer weather;

they want winter over and they're ready for summer time fun!!!

 

Soon our winter clothing can be gently folded;

for what seems a short while - packed and placed away.

Opened windows to feel the fresh moist breeze;

before you know it we'll be in the month of May.

 

Robins bouncing across our front lawns;

plucking their feasts from the grounds.

This is the song of "Seasons changing";

the sweetest being that of Springtime sounds
