out of the rain

out of the rain

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

photography by stefan beutler

silently sing to me
during the nonsensical intermissions of life
show me that curved lines
make far more sense than straight ones
in this multi-dimensional world
go ahead
contradict me
‘cause life has tricked me
don’t answer my questions
make me forget them
logic is highly overrated
and ofttimes exaggerated
it’s been a long journey
but i am here
steer me to your safe haven
get me out of the rain

... "curved lines
make far more sense than straight ones
in this multi-dimensional world"...
and in/on those curved lines we go and we come and some how return to some places we have been before ~ hope with a bit more of knowledge! ~ the rain! We can be out in the rain and I'm sure you will never become "wet" and go on shining!

so am I.. tis always a pleasure ...
I wish you too love rain bcoz i love rain much...lol wow, what a great write "Lydi" It's really a great and an awesome write i read today in the evening time...and hey, by the way, who's that girl in the pic. is she thinking about me... lol ?don't worry, tell her that , i'm thinking about her too and missing her allot.. lol

This write's well penned and of course it's written in a free time when you were alone and thinking about the reality of someone. some words're here to the tee and explained everything without any conversation but from the voice of the eyes and the sound of the heart... Yu know what "Lydii" as i saw this write, and the pic. as well i didn't read first becoz firstly i just saved that beautiful girl pic. who's in the dream of "Inspiring Writer" ... lol then i did start reading this piece and as i did, believe me i liked this from the first, it's so smooth, so clean and so powerful...

Loved here the title too "OUT OF THE RAIN" Yeh, well explained but i think if thatpic. girl's with me then i'd love to recommend you to change the title and replace it from this "WET IN THE RAIN"..HAHA :)
the world's awesome and gloomson as well but what we think about others depends upon our thinking, everything's stunning in this new Arena and we human always attracts towards the stunning beauty of the world and everyone's being trapped in this world but you here well described about it through this piece....

don’t answer my questions
make me forget them
logic is highly overrated
and ofttimes exaggerated
it’s been a long journey

yeh, it's been a long journey but i think my journey could be short if i'm with that women and walking on the life's journey together... HAHAH *kidding*
anyways... awesomely penned, keep writing. Well done for your this awesome victory;)

Logic is often highly overrated, girl! Even if it doesn't make sense, wrap me up and shelter me! Love this. Angi~

Love the directness of this piece, the imagery, rain as metaphor.. truly an inspiring piece of poetry.
