A Poem by Morgan Yai

Here lies a woman who...

Tried to be kind to everyone she met

She strived to live without feeling upset

But who can know joy without any sorrow?

She thought (just maybe) she'd be happy tomorrow

Each day became a struggle to survive

Wondering why she was even alive

She slowly began to stop her caring

She couldn't stand this load she was bearing

"What am I doing?" She thought one day

And she let her thoughts carry her away

She realized that she was done with life

Soon she was gone and in her heart was a knife

Oh wow. This hits a little close to home. This struggle is something many people face. It's not an easy battle to win, and is so easy to lose. I can appreciate the slow deterioration of a healthy person.
