Double Shot

I love writing up a quick poem.

My life is a double shot of Jack Dark and cold to the touch

With no intention, no permission I beckon my soul to come forth    

My life is like no other road map

You can play me like an old record

For I never skip a beat

My foot print has become a lost child in the crowd

Screaming for someone to spot it Like hiding-go-seek I play for keeps  

Cheers to another year of heartache A toast all that I seek

My life, like a double shot of jack 

I drink it down fast and hope for a comeback

The only thing with our ol' friend Jack is that a couple usually lead to a couple more and then mornings with a sore head and blurred memories :)

I liked this!my life is a double shot of co-co-puffs with the chocolaty milk spilling down my chin and the cartoon of my life rolls on an endless reel..:)
