All Apologies

All Apologies

A Poem by Malcolm Reynolds
"

Shouldn't have done her wrong, time to say goodbye the right way

"
That's very magnanimous of you to apologise,
But you've got no reason to in my eyes,
I was a creep when you let go of me,
But it's not you who owes an apology,
I'm sorry for putting you in that situation,
I have difficulty dealing with submission,
I only wish you happiness and the best of success,
If you ever wanted to meet I'd still say yes,
But I know you're not going to,
Adios and more than anything thank you.

This poem is very understandable, and somewhat relatable. I love the word you used in the first sentence, magnanimous.
