Love's Embrace

Love's Embrace

A Poem by Mason

Drifting along the ocean waves,
I feel as if I'm being strangled,
Warm feelings wrapping themselves around me,
Like millions of jellyfish attaching themselves,
Their stings can no longer hurt me,
I am completely at ease.

Washing up on the shore,
I am set free from entanglement,
Free to walk the coast,
Free to feel the waves brush against my feet,
Free to feel the warm sand,
Heated by your love.

Even when I fly away to Russia,
I will remember this moment,
I will be filled with these feelings,
My body will radiate like the sand did,
On that wonderful day,
When you set me free.

The sand beckons me back,
I will find my way back,
Back into the sand,
Back into the waves,
Back into your arms,
Back into your love...

About
I deleted my last About Me because, looking back, it sounded really pretentious and arrogant to the point that I was annoyed with myself. I'm mostly using this to organize my thoughts on a few persona.. more..
