A Poem by Siddharth Roy

Louisa Point - A Picturesque Spot situated on the Hill Station Matheran linked with a Tragic Past.

Mountain’s covered in the Mist have the Secret to tell you, if only you can Listen’,

Dark Clouds’ Hovering above, crying every day, when they Gather here for Sojourn’,

Having Witnessed which was never meant to be, the Story Untold, Lost forgotten’,

Destiny or Free Will, Nobody Knows, but that Last Whisper, still lingers, un-smitten’.

Waterfall, trying harder, to erase tragic imprint’s, turning Milketh only to fail and Mourn,

For the heavy Load of that Very Last Tear, rolling down the Valley, left no stone Upturned;

Dilemma it was, Choice had to be made; whether to just sit and enjoy the Nature, Smitten’,

Or, Allow the Mountains’to speak out, hearing the Story, as they Turn Darketh like a Demon.

*Thunder Strikes*

Thank you again. Nature is very inspiring.
What to say.......

I enjoyed the Elizabethan styled language of this poem and the alluring imagery that you have described throughout the poem.

A very unexpected piece of writing. Very different to what you have published previously. Nice work!
