We inhabit a Death Star

"
They want me to believe the events, the polls, that the earth is shaped like a coin under a starry dome of bright burning balls;
They want me to love the orange coiffe, and swing a blue light saber or a red one. If I swing a green one, I am a rebel. I have to laugh!
All the while, we inhabit a Death Star and take our carriages at midnight, leaving our slipper behind for a stranger to call.
F**k'em all.

We poets shall think how we want, I agree. Thanks Chris
Loved it. Made me laugh out loud at the end. Poetically ironic, funny and true.

Dee, I’m happy I can bring some mirth. Hard to come by in this world. Thank you 🙏🏼
