The Actor

The Actor

A Poem by Maylin, Rise
"

inspiration: she is love by parachute

"

1.        Your smile was captivating.

2.        Your eyes made the surroundings fade away.

3.         So bite me for falling in love.

4.        My gaze was fixed on the curve of your profile.

5.        Your lips became my horizon.

6.        Your smile was captivating.

7.       I smiled at the thought of you,

8.       and only at the thought of you.

9.        So bite me for falling in love.

10.    Your hand in mine, made humanity disappear.

11.    You created such a rush, I almost had to wipe the tear but,

12.    Your smile was captivating.

13.   It paralyzed the seas, and stopped the earth from revolving.

14.   Stopped my mind from analyzing, and made me hold my breath.

15.   So bite me for falling in love.

16.   My heart you turned to dust, and you became a must, for my existence.

17.    It was all an act, well don’t give me an encore, you can’t blame me when,

18.   Your smile was captivating.

19.   So bite me for falling in love.

THE ACTOR is a bittersweet poem full of dreamy notions of an Unrequited love dove... Guess a lot of women have met this "acting" male ... I can't dignify him by callin' him a man becus he's just TWO BALLS of dust ... I like the reoccurring line: it adds a flavor of humor that we all have to have when our hearts are turned to dust ...loved the 4,5,6 combo especially: Your lips became my horizon...
