There Was a Man Song

There Was a Man Song

A Poem by G. Coleman
"

There was a man, He is gone now.

"

There was a man,

He is gone now,

Of his disappearance,

I do not know how.

Perhaps some teeth got him,

And tore him away.

Maybe he wandered,

And will be back someday.

There was a man,

He is gone now,

Of his disappearance,

I do not know how.

Perhaps lead struck him,

And his blood blown everywhere.

Maybe he just fell,

Gasping for sweet air.

But there was a man,

He is gone now,

His disappearance,

They will not allow.
