Aren't We All to Blame?

Aren't We All to Blame?

A Poem by Megan Hahn
"

If the something happens in the world and we all look away and do nothing, aren't we to blame just as much as the people who are causing the damage?

"

Aren't we all to blame,

For what the world has become,

Not just those in charge.

We are all guilty,

Not for causing these ruins,

Not specifically.

For not speaking up,

For not stopping this fallout,

Those are our charges.

We helped cause this war,

Guilty are those who look past,

Those who walk on by.

If we had the chance,

Would we do things differently,

Or end here again?
