Under the Moon

Under the Moon

A Poem by Mel Jayne
"

Under the light of the moon.

"
He stretched,
The light was on him.
Devan looked at him
and the moon shattered.

His dark skin shone,
when he was under the moon.
The fire on the beach
crackled.

He danced,
the song was electric.
He smiled,
And Devan stood
to dance with the boy
beneath the moonlight.

Aloha Mel Jayne, under the light of the moon there is magic. Magical words that offer the most serene of images. Mahalo for this beautiful piece. Izzy

You're welcome
This is beautiful! You've portrayed the moon as a symbol of love in a magnificent way. I wanted more of those descriptions, but still, it's a wonderful poem. Well written!

don't mention
Good poem
It depicts nature's Providence
And only observers of nature do write such poems.
I will want you reading my works also.
I have a poem that talks about the moon
I will share it soon
Keep it up
