My Joy

Joyous smiles abound and laughter follows

When you’re around my heart is light

My heart soars with wings of love

That rapidly pours from your open arms

Despair and sadness fly out the window

Replaced by gladness when you look in my eyes

Treasures unveil with every word spoken

A wondrous tale written from the soul
