You are not alone

So much terror and so much pain, as I heard of the recent attacks my heart ached to be there. Alas I am on the other side. So this is for all whom, live in London or the UK.

London, today as you mourn those that have been lost,

know that we stand by you.

London, strong and mighty, even if you fall, we will

help you get back up.

For up to now, so it seems, you've been targeted for any means,

yet we see your resilience and know that you will overcome.

London, know this, what we see, we will never forget.

The heartache, anguish and pain is palpable.

London, today as you face reality, never forget,

that you are not alone.

Terror strikes, without thinking, taking lives or separating families,

here and everywhere.

Evil roams seeking to devour and reap death, yet as it comes,

seeking death, we, stand strong, as One, and gather courage from everyone.  

London, even now in the midst of pain, please know,

you are not alone.

We are here, even from afar, sharing in your pain and disbelief.

Young, old, in between.  If you know where to look,

you will find, many willing to extend a hand to you.

And today, as you seek, understanding and comfort and love,

know that we stand with you, even from afar.

This piece has been in my reading library awhile, but we can never forget the way it feels each time we hear of another attack, no matter where on earth. You've described the thing that's most important in our global community -- it's amazing how much solace we can get, knowing other countries are pulling for each other. This is exactly how I feel each time I hear of an attack & knowing it could've been us, but for the grace of God. Here's hoping we never normalize the way it feels. Great tribute to the Londoners! Yes, indeed, we all need to learn to somehow come together and not allow more hatred or bitterness to overtake our hearts and souls.

Yes you are absolutely right with the title. You are not alone and we all are standing tall with you. Seriously, I feel all the terrorist and terrorist friendly nations should be blowned with nuclear weapons.

If those people (terrorist and terrorist friendly nations) doesn't understand the language of peace and harmony then certainly they don't deserve life anymore.

True, yet at least for me, it saddens me that we somehow have gotten to be here in this time, and exist as we do. But yes you are right. If these people choose to go against life..than...it leaves us no choice but to fight back
