This Sunday...

So am headed to the beach this Sunday. Oh cannot wait! Anyways, felt like writing it this way on here...feeling happy today. So this is a story poem..I guess.Enjoy

On Sundays I normally work,

yet this Sunday I will be off.

Most people go to church,

while other slumber in their sleep.

Others visit family

and hang out with friends.

This Sunday, will be different.

We are headed to the beach.

As much as I love the ocean,

I have nearly drowned a few times,

Yet still, I love the feel of 

the hot sand on my feet.

How do you spend your Sunday?

Sleeping in or eating out?

Having a Sunday off, is a big 

thing for me, as I normally

am at work, taking calls.

But this Sunday will be 

full of much fun and adventure,

plus will be taking

surfing lessons!

I might fall, or not,

but even so, of one thing

I am sure, I will not 

drown, God will not 

let me go...

So enjoy your Sunday, everyone,

I shall be having a Sunny day.

I live on the Gulf Coast. I love to sit on the beach...in my car...with the AC running! I'm glad that you're going to get out and go play. I like the beach at night, with the breeze blowin' and the night fishermen are quiet, drinkin' their beers. We have some nice piers to walk out away from the sound of the traffic. I don't work (my job) on week ends and I sleep until I wake up. Can't wait to be retired and do that every. Day. Surfing lessons?! Brave Maria, just wear a lifejacket, you should be okay - if you taking lessons, it's kinda bad for business to let customers drown. I'll be thinking of you this Sunday, that's what I'll be doing while I try desperately not to do much else. Have fun, and let us know how it went.
