2 - 1 = ZERO (Wondering)

2 - 1 = ZERO (Wondering)

A Poem by Metaphantom
"

My best friends Fiance` committed suicide, and he couldn't just make a song, everything he made wasn't good enough, I told him I would help write, he orchestrated, but, it I ended up writing this

"
A hole in a heart can leave a man dead, with that said /
she wanna sleep on a King, but it's empty in that bed /
he grabs threads of what's left what's next /
how in the hell can you go on alone after that mess /
nothing to hold but memories, what it could've become /
he would die of heartache not of a gun /
no, not of a pun intended, his heart was torn /
for by his wrist on his sleeve it was worn /
love exists in the minds of artists that paint tragedy /
even with an imagination the truth was more graphic see /
he wanted to rescue her from the darkness of that apartment /
his soul whole and ripped apart heart wrenched /
he holds onto material possessions it's not good enough /
he thinks of love as the enemy now, how could he love? /
but this time he did, he did he really loved her /
with her he was better, now with her gone he suffers /
........wondering.......

Author's Note

Metaphantom
This wasn't such a poem as it was for lyrics of a song, so very grammatically incorrect, it is hip-hop, slam type of poetry, and written for a friend from the heart, as all I could do was gather empathy as he wept telling me the tragic story.
