Love is a conman, gunning for fools.
Hope, a sea of deceit.
Laughter, a caster, indolent slave-master,
Complacency naught but defeat.
I cannot speak to you.
I shall only mime out the words.
My soul will
not seek to repent;
The serpent has swallowed the bird.
