Tower any Taller

Tower any Taller

A Poem by MorganOsmium
"

short, simple. likely about what we are doing wrong

"

Tower any Taller

If our legs were any stronger,

They wouldn’t crack; we’d have made it longer,

If our foundation more reliable,

Our house wouldn’t crash, after, from high stilts tumble,

As of now we only tilt,

As of tomorrow, spilt,

If our delicate tower any taller,

Well, it depends on how well we’ve built,

nice formula--well presented--unclear meaning
here's my view--after doing open mics
if they can't understand it right off the bat--you'll lose your audience
people don't have time to try to figure out what you are saying--
write about you ardent wishes and desires--from the heart
