Waiting for an owl

Waiting for an owl

A Poem by Muneeb khan
"

This poem is about the destruction we all have created on mother earth and inocent animals pay for our blunders.

"
Sun sets and moon rise
Suddenly the owl mayerialize
Everyday near my window sill
Owl comes and scratch my gill
I would hold up forthe owl
Untill the moon sets and dog stops to howl
But it would never come to revel me
Oh! Son of Adam, the only responsible is thee
You puruse them for some greenback
Which causes the biota to hunchback.

They say, in Greece, that it is thought very unlucky to bring an owl into the house.
keeping this in mind- when I sometime holiday, on the superb island of Crete-I go through my luggage to ensure that I have not, inadvertently, packed my owls.
If you are going to Greece- leave the owls, at home, people.
Top travel-tip, for that neck of the Med!

Nice write my man!

I like the idea behind your piece, Muneeb....that we desecrate all in our path and destroy the habitats of many animal species all in pursuit of the almighty dollar.

Try a short edit of the poem though...."materialize"..."until".... Editing is just as important as written content.

A nice idea simply executed. Keep writing. Practice makes perfect.
