My Heart On A Sleeve

 

When I see a smile that heads my way,

or a unexpected phone call on a rainey day,

when I might meet someone handsome and new,

my heart falls out on my sleeve.

 

When I see a pair of gourgous eyes,

one's that make me stop and sigh....

my heart falls out on my sleeve.

 

My heart is up for grabbs it's true.

It thinks anyone will do.

I keep telling it to stay.

Maybe my heart will listen one day.

 

But when I hold someone's hand,

and he says he understands....

I get daydreams in my head,

then I get that funny feeling once again....

and my heart is on my sleeve.
