Nothing Matters Anymore

Nothing Matters Anymore

A Poem by MystiqFairy
"

Something I wrote a long time ago when I was in middle school.

"

Depression and confusion
Stumbling over and over
Nothing matters anymore
Knocking down walls
Covering up past mistakes
Everything annoys me
I need to take a break
Been running so long
Can't hardly take life
I'm not important
Nothing matters anymore
Wishing I could live
Knowing I can't
Ignore the pain
Life is full of death
But I wont regret this
I'll take the next step
Nothing matters anymore

sounds great, last stanza taking the next step, nothing matters anymore- word choice is great but a little confussing for me if your taking the step to what? nothing matters anymore? i can comprehend on a certan level. But over all nice job with conveying the message across in your writing!! Keep penning!!!

Taking the next step refers to suicide in this poem. Thanks for taking the time to read!

Any time-will read more!!
"Can't hardly take life" should be "CAN hardly take life"

Besides that, no other mistakes.

It's a very powerful poem. You can feel how weary the person has become with life.

Very well written!!
