These Walls - Phoenix

A Poem by Vague

He rages toward the unfathomable distance above;
Fields ablaze below, sky patterned above, thoughts razed within,-
-resolve sundered throughout.

He reaches out - flesh fails; burns away [but why?].
Caterwauls rule these cracked-chipped walls.

 

Still yet, he may rise.

And; he returns, again.

Fate burns violently inside.

He has risen once more.
