By any manmade medicine

It’s the cancer of our very souls

Nuke out of us

And touch our wounds

And heal us

yet we are still wandering

Searching for the cure

Maybe this w***e

Will cure my cancer

Maybe this needle

Will deaden the pain

Maybe this shot of vodka

Will all but drive away

The thoughts

That is driving me mad

we just wanted to feel loved
