Well said Neville. We spend far too much time ticking boxes, pushing buttons and falling victim to all the trappings, (and traps,) that go hand in glove with this increasing frenetic world.

Tapping keys is ok though, I'm almost quick enough at the keyboard to capture the whirling thoughts in my head; ALMOST, that is. :))

For about two years after neck surgery, my memory was so scattered, I got a taste of how it must be as a person with a wobbly mental grasp. Your poem reminds me of how I used to try to enumerate what things I had done & what things I needed to do . . . I had to do this all the time, every day, to check on myself & make sure I'm on track! tapping keys, filling in boxes---using the internet---addicting...and sometimes we just cannot get off of the keys once we are addicted...i find this with poetry----and sometimes with amazon----literal and figurative addiction.
