Curtains

Curtains

A Poem by Neville
"

what could be more evocative than a fine old mirror draped in a well woven shawl ...

"

Curtains

Is there anything

You want

From me

Before I go

She asked

I want your

Taste upon me

I want to smell

Of you

I want to draw

And lift

Then part

The cotton veil

You hide behind

So well

Before it moistens

Or disintegrates

And then

I want to lay

Right there

Next to you

Without so much

As breathing
