Wonderful Minds

Wonderful Minds

A Poem by Nicole Renee
"

For the Writing for the bored.....contest; what we think of when we're bored.

"

Letting my mind wander,

It goes into fantasy and the unreal,

Showing what my world would be like

If I could have it with what could happen

To my life, or what couldn’t happen,

Letting me grow wings to fly into

The crisp, wondrous air with

The clouds full of chocolate rain drops

And treats that are imaginable to the human eye.

So let the creatures in my mind

Wander along my mind; It’s not so bad…

Boredom is at my hand.

I'm not very knowledgable about what makes terrific poems, but I don't think that this one is cliche, but that's just my opinion. I like this piece. I think it touches the spirit of wonderment quite nicely. Good job!

I liked it. It's short, borderline cliche but because it's about boredom that makes sense. I think incredibly cliche thoughts when I'm bored. :) The flow is very nice as well. Lovely work.
