I gave you my heart

Its a poem i wrote...........

I gave you my heart,

Wishing that we would never part…

I will hold you in my soul,

Always a part of you to make me whole…

 

Having you in my life…

Is a beautiful feeling …

You make me feel

So special

One day long ago there was no you,

There was only me.

 

It was so hard to live without you,

It was so hard to stop thinking about you……

It was like I lost my life,

I couldn’t eat or sleep without you,Then

I thought that……Love is not a feeling,

It’s a choice you can’t feel it you have to choose it….

One little suggestion, and I hope you would take it fine. Some of your poems need a little proofreading.

I thought that……Love is not a felling, --- I think you meant "feeling".

But then, these are little errors and once you correct them, they will contribute to your improvement as a poet/writer.

Wow. This was great. It reminded me of where I was in my life 5 years ago. He was here and then gone and I felt like my heart was literally gone out of my chest. Then I decided not to choose love so I wouldn't have to feel anything. But that doesn't last very long for someone like me.. Lol

Yes, we do not get to choose the one our heart seems to pick out for us to love...although some relationships might end better if we used our brains while looking for a partner. Valentine
