Shades of Blue

Soaring upwards through the bluest of skies,
as visions of adoration materialize.

Elusive dreams caressing my soul, I reach out to
 embrace them to begin damage control.

A hidden agenda seems to obstruct my view

as I flutter in the wind a gentle breeze guides me

through.

Could it be illusions drudged up from the past?
a moment in time nomadic and vast.

 

Sensing your presence and all that you are, have

I flown to high and much too far.

 

I’m chasing shadows in shades of blue, I never

anticipated such a life without you.

 

If ever I falter and fall from the sky no reason to

live but enough to die.

 

Oh how I miss you, I’m torn from inside, I’m

slowly Losing control, my emotions untied.
