May has faded away

and June has slipped in

looking not for a lover 

but a here today, 

gone tomorrow, friend.

Someone to laugh with

until our sides ache. 

A kindred spirit

who does not judge

but accepts me as I am.

Someone to cry with

until the tears run their course.

An explorer,

who looks beyond the surface,

and sees the beauty within.

If I fleetingly weave memories

that intoxicate you for months

and make you yearn for me,

Our intimate secrets will whisper in the wind

This is the third poem of yours that I have read and you write with such feeling and passion that your poetry touches its readers and takes them with it. This is a great talent to have and should make reading more of your poetry an adventure worth experiencing for all your readers :~)

You are WAY too kind. I am my worse critic of course but I read the work of others and they express what I am feeling so cleverly that I become very humble. I am just glad I am able to put on "paper" what I am feeling with some semblance of clarity.

Be careful with that worse critic thing it can lead to writers block which is usually just you thinking everything you write is not worthy of your talents and skill. I may have written ten thousand poems in my life and maybe half of them wouldn't make sense to anyone but me, they cant all be great :~)

These vignettes of months are fantastic, Pandora... the months come and go but are sure to return and with them memories as fresh as the days in which they were made...these writes remind me of "to everything a season"...well-done

The inspiration came to me from a movie...I think it was called.."My September." It was a love story and I watched it by mistake. I am more of a horror fan, but nevertheless it surprisingly got to me. I grab inspiration from wherever i can these days.
