Curtain Clippers...

Curtain Clippers...

A Poem by Schlechter Kornwurm
"

this was written after i saw a picture of a friend who had colorful butterflies in her hair, when i asked her what they were she said they were Curtain Clippers, which inspired this, how it did...i have no idea...

"

urtain Clippers

Creep into my lair
nestle in my hair
bed with me, dine on my
porch with me, divinity divine
paint with me, indulge in my flair
love,
together,
veneration,
adulation,
the lights dim slowly,
consume me,
beastly butterfly

morrow tommorow,
glow for me,
gloss me over,
pause,
stare,
tempting colorful glare
fly to my side,
sleep with me now
soft warmth
cuddle,
snuggle,
caress we lie,
consume me,
beastly butterfly

lay by me, sleep
nightmares caught unawares
tossing,
restless,
perturbing,
conciously sleeping amiss,
blood and violence
trauma and silence, ensues

awake, color i see
blotches,
splotches,
a vision of me
the beast of color
divinity divine
torn,
mutilated,
dead,
i seethe,
foam fuming
saliva spewing,
tears drain,
i cry

"see what is me, death
killed love in my sleep,"i say
look at i have become,
love i have sought,
death i have brought,
why,
that the beautiful die,
what am i,
cry,
weep,
the innocent perish, by mine
what am i,
lover,
killer,
that the butterfly shall fly, never

consume me,
beastly butterfly,
death am i.....

The phrase "beastly butterfly" is wonderful, as is the last line of this. I'm definitely glad that you ran with your inspiration here!
