Ode to Man II

Ode to Man II

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Ode to Man II

And she who would feed upon my flesh

had best beware

for I am the Angel of God

and I will avenge the destruction

of my Christ; the sanctity of man.

You cannot slay such innocence

with your b*****d words.

You cannot destroy such beauty

with such vile intentions.

You cannot own the world

with your slippery desires;

Eve has already been there.

And so leave the stage

for man to manage

as he,

and he alone,

walks the Earth

with conviction.

Thank you Laurie, that is such kind praise.
I know others see this as man fighting back against women subduing us but I also see us shouting to those who seek to overthrow our world with their ideals and religions and kill us if we don't accept them, guess that's just me huh!

Yup you gals have a lot to answer for lol!
Conviction to purity is not just for man/men. He is not alone. Love the angelic reference. The Earth and my soul cries for such words of defending, believing, and honoring God!!! Thank you John. Beautiful.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
