i am chuckling over your description of "debate and discuss" your senryu rings true as true can be ... for me there is no debate because we have laws now... plenty of them ..people who break the law need to be caught and prosecuted ...more laws are not going to correct the seed that breeds the darkness that allows someone to murder another ... brave John ... in opening this ball ;)

Thank you 'E'. Not sure I agree with my own senryu though as I am unsure why bearing arms is o important in the USA. Europe has more cause to worry about instability and conflict and invasion (given our geography, history and size), yet across Europe there is no such desire. I was a gun club member once and enjoyed the older weapon challenge of Navy Cold or Winchester.

yes there a many collectors of older firearms .. the streets a mean no matter where one goes ..my position is i would rather have it though i don't need it than need it and not ... there is a responsibility that goes with that position as well ..and i go to the range regularly and keep a tight enough grouping to be accurate ...its criminals who do not obey the law ..and mass murderers will use anything they can to kill as many people as they can .. the memories of 9/11 are the saddest example of such cowardice ... the Navy Colt is an awesome gun ;)))
