Dear Future,

I'm scared of you

Terrified of you

I do not wish for us to meet

But we will

Dear Future,

I wish for you to bring me

Someone to love

Someone to love me back

I very much long for this, 

Future

Dear Future,

I am in desperate need of you

As long as you grant that wish

Because I need someone,

Anyone,

To hold when I am scared of your 

Next untimely gift

Dear Future,

I do long to be pleasantly 

Surprised by you

As the past has not done so

Politely

Dear Future,

You and your gifts will come

Some will decide to stay,

Others you will return 

I do in fact hope,

My dearest Future,

that I will learn

To love you
