The Hem of Him

The Hem of Him

 

Think about it.

The vastness of His strength.

The wondrous beauty He permits.

Where His shadows of grace increase.

 

There’s nowhere you can go

To escape God’s love.

Nowhere you can roam

Where the hem of Him cannot be touched.

 

It reaches every place,

And It’s always long enough

To wrap you in His grace…

To cradle and hold you up.

 

For He is ever there…

When your heart breaks.

When you need healing, when no one seems to care,

The hem of Him never stains.

 

Value it, trust it, cherish it,

It’s strong enough to protect you from boulders,

Yet soft and delicate to wipe your tears with it.

Think about it… how broad are His shoulders!

 

When you feel worthless or powerless,

Tell Jesus who knows your every whim.

When you need something to clutch in your distress,

Clutch the hem of Him.
