Dream RiverA Poem by Melinda McQueenDream River
Flowing from the depth, Refusing to be kept. Cascading down, Colliding beauty found.
Pebbles move along Its current, stone by stone. Water of deep blue, Dream River ever true.
Guided along its timeline, Its destiny it longs to find. Seeking a higher power, A steadfast tower.
Ripples surface in its plight, Uncertain in its fight. Yet it keeps moving, Dream River ever soothing.
Aware of its hope, It continues to flow. Always a reason to believe In its peace.
Flowing against all odds, Refusing to give up on the Rock. Cascading like water is the Giver, Colliding with the Dream River. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
