God of All TimeA Poem by Melinda McQueenGod of All Time
Night had come, All was quiet. The stars winked, Satisfied with the day’s diet.
A balanced time Of light had brought forth harmony. For the sun had graced the earth with its shine, Honoring God with gentle ease.
All was still, A lone cricket played its tune. In the blanket of darkness, A song serenaded its truth.
The stillness bowed its head, And the darkness knelt. The stars blinked, growing brighter still, For the Savior’s glory dwelled.
Once more, the sun arose, Waking the earth with colors soft. Alive came the sounds of morning With chirping of birds singing tunes aloft.
When all seems dark and bleak And you’re surrounded by plight, Just remember That God is the God of all time.
