The 16th note ....Cries of a woman

The 16th note ....Cries of a woman

A Poem by Poetic-pRiNcEsS

She lay there in tears, Gasping for breath.

Not a scream could come out of her mouth,

Her body became tense, A sickening feeling came over her,

As he found pleasure in the streams of her tears.

She struggled to decide on what hurt more,

Being stabbed by a knife or the feeling of his hands,

Exploring her body without her permission.

She tried to give a fight in the moments he breathed heavily agaisnt her neck.

As his shame became hard agaisnt her body,

It seemed the earth stopped rotating,

The birds became non-existant.

She fished for memories to lighten the fear and disgust she felt, yet it proved useless.

All was gone all was lost.

It became like a trip to hell,he was hot with lust.

She made herself strong and closed her eyes, wishing he'd stop,

She gave up when she opened them and it wasnt a dream after all.

Her reputation had already gone up in flames,

She wondered what the world would say,

She wanted it, or maybe they'd say she deserved it?

As his grip became loose and he felt less heavy,

She found that she had a choice to be a victim or a surviver,

The piercing screams of other women all over the world,

Became a painful fist in her ears, she had to break loose,

strength found her body again,

And then she killed for her freedom,

Though she calls the steel cell home,

Though justice had failed her,

She won the battle.
