Lost

You look into my eyes,
but you think that you see
and tell yourself all these lies
that what we have will always be
but you don't realize
that you've lost me
The closeness we once had,
have all gone in the dirt,
because the betrayal of a friend
brings only hurt

You look into my eyes
but you would never see
that the brave face i put on
is only a front,
deep inside it rips at my soul;
everytime I'm with you,
and soon my heart would be cold.
You say that all of us could be;
still close and laughing,
talking and chilling, STILL!
that would just be lying 2 ourselves
and not facing reality...

You Look into my eyes
and I Know that you think
that I'll always be around
but let this sink..
I'm not going to let this pain mount
Don't tell yourself these lies
that what we have will always be
you must realize
That you have lost me
