My Body's Language

My Body's Language

A Poem by PoetryPenPal

Empty words
Eat me up inside.
Sorrow-filled tears
Never tell a lie.
Holes in you heart
Whistle sad songs.
Cracked lips tell stories
Of times too long.
Silent cries
Louder than before.
Sentences of hate
Falling to the floor.
Beauty is lost
In the fog of time.
Cries lost forever
In the silence behind.
