She, My Happiness!!

I lose my sleep over you,
While searching the love I probably might not get,
I’m surrounded
With the fear of being close to you,
Yet never getting closer.
Like being a thousand miles away
Even when I’m standing next to you,
Being broken
Yet managing to hide the pain,
With a smile and ignorance.
Sometimes, I wish to stay away
But somehow an excuse makes way
By a piece of broken me that just wants to be in your presence
To be the reason you smile
To see the perfect you
Even though you don’t feel
The way I do
If not this, what’s true love?
If being there for you, knowing you would never accept
If this Isn’t enough for you, then what is?
Coz no matter what I do to keep myself happy,
End of the day,
A roller coaster ride of guilt
eats me up, questioning what am I doing?
To which you’re the answer
The answer I’ve been waiting for
And will be waiting for!!
