A poem about Nothing

Nothing is a fickle thing,
It often isn't there
But if you think that Nothing
is Nothing
Then BLING!
(You think that you've got it!)

But you’re actually only halfway there.

You see, if Nothing

Meant No thing at all

It would mean there was none of Anything

Which means there was no Nothing

Which means there was something

Which means that Nothing simply doesn't make sense

But Nothing seems simple

How come it's so slippery??

If there wasn't anything at all

That means that here wasn't any Nothing

Which means that...there was something

In that very fickle Nothing

But does that even make sense??

I didn't thing that it did

I'm too confused!

I'm confused about Nothing -

But doesn't that mean that I am confused abou something???

No idea. Go ask another person.

Very clever.
This question has puzzled human thought since ancient times.
"No thing" is a very difficult concept to master. And to think that we all make use of it daily, even as I type these words here.
Like infinity, "no thing" cannot be defined.
