My man

My man

A Poem by Rachel Rashid

My man,
I want to study your soul anatomy,
I wanna feel you and me,
one allied soul
I want to feel it all,
I want to touch the threads that makes our spirits combined,
My man, I want a love that'll never go blind,
Grab my future by the hand, and leave our pasts behind,
My man,
Let me into your light,
Hold me and touch me right,
Until we're an aurora of human pieces,
Shining until our color ceases,
My man, undress your fears,
Let me see your fragility, your tears
I don't want to feel like I'm with an army man,
not like I'm with superman,
I want to feel the human in you,
I want "us" to be true.

You know that was very nice and its like a girl who really loves someone and don't want him to mess up, and he IS messing up. ]
The simple language used is good, it shows that you really want the one you are addressing to understand you no matter how much is his intellect you want him to get you.
I loved this work. well done :D

Really digging the emotion and imagery in this piece. It's a sentiment more romantic than the stereotype trope, because of its plea for realness. Excellent work, hope you find a love lile that.
