ALIEN

ALIEN

A Poem by Randy Johnson

I'm from another galaxy and I'm visiting your planet.
After what I've seen, I feel sick, I simply can't stand it.
Your world has been consumed by greed and violence.
Where I come from, such behavior makes no sense.
My people have no need for laws, courts or police.
Where I come from,we've achieved world peace.
Many of you are starving and you make guns to kill.
If you're wondering if I'll visit your planet again, I don't think I will.
I'm going to board my ship in three hours from now and fly into outer space.
Hopefully you people can change, maybe there is still hope for the Human Race.

This is really good and has an interesting message. What kind of impression would/does the human race make on someone or thing not from this planet? Probably not too good! I enjoyed the clever rhyming, also.
