This is a thank-you-note for my idol which I wrote on his birthday.

In the years to come,

My love might fade

And hardships may dwell.

I'll grow old, and you will too;

Time will steal you from me,

You'll no longer be seen by me.

But there will be certain moments

Where I'd think about you,

A special someone whom I first

Loved only through the screen;

Who let me know about

The importance of music;

Who made my laughter and tears worth;

Who taught me things

I didn't know I had to know;

Who showed me how not to give up.

You were always there

When my spirits needed a little lift,

I cannot thank you enough

For coming into my life.
