dream

the waves gentley crashing against the shore

the blue sky filled with white, fluffy clouds

a field of soft, green grass underneath my feet

the wonderful smell of salt water in the air

i don't want to leave this place

to wake up in the real world once more

the peace that surrounds me like the whisper of the wind

sooths away all of the pain

but i know i will have to wake up soon enough

i know this dream must someday end

but for now i take it all in

wishing this dream was more than just a dream
