Letting Go

Letting go.

I want to be free.

And fly away.

But regrets bind me,

So here I stay.

One day I’ll be released from the chains that bind me

And I’ll leave the past behind me.

But for now the pain and emptiness borrows inside me.

It beats inside my chest.

I want to let go.

But I feel second best.

I guess this is another test.

I feel the urge to let go.

But I don’t know If I’m ready.

They hurt me so badly, you know.

After all the they did,

I still want to let go.

I need to forgive them.

I need them in my life you know.

Sometimes people make mistakes.

Sometimes we take huge risks and ignore the stakes.

Sometimes we hurt one another.

But forgiveness is all it takes.

Forgive their mistakes.

Freedom.

There is so much emotion in this peice ! Forgiving others can be very difficult , but in-order to feel at peace we must force ourselves to forgive those who have hurt us . Forgiving is a part of healing and moving on in life .
