The Stillness

The Stillness

A Poem by Perry
"

late night+thinking too much+marijuana= this poem.

"

The stars showering light,
I try to reach for the skies
as the eyes anticipate the sunrise.

The clouds fluttering rain,
your world waits
for the storm to sustain.

Mother earth opens wide
to swallow her pain,
rebalance the tide
as the moon wanes.

Waiting for a day,
lying awake,
praying to break
all our mistakes.

Roll up that old scroll,
live in this moment.
Let past and future be untold
and watch true happiness unfold..
..In the stillness..

I think you are the only person, especially a guy, whom when on Mary Jane, decides to write a poem.
It is indeed a rare unique talent.
Its cute, true and a fun read.
