I'm at a loss for words.
I lost my words waiting
for something to move me.
The world has left me numb,
by a litany of felonies.

Time moves underneath me.
to a time thought, left behind.
A people shaken visibly.

I'm at a loss for words.
I lost my words waiting
for something to love me,
from clothing to skin
and, the soul within.

Our time is not long and
we belong to each other,
if we are to recover every
word ever uttered,
for the sake of blood,
for the sake of love.
